Ingredients
1 pound pear puree
1/2 cup water
1/2 to 1 cup sugar
Preparation
Place pear puree in a slow cooker with the lid partially off to let steam escape.
Set at low and cook, stirring occasionally, for six to 12 hours or overnight until thick enough.
Once thick, you can store your pear butter in a container in the refrigerator for up to three weeks, or freeze it in a freezer-safe container for up to a year. The other option is to can the pear butter so you can store it in your pantry.

What can I use instead of Slow Cooker?
Other than slow cooker, you can use microwave, stovetop, and oven method to concentrate the pear puree.
